I was born in Milan (Italy), I have a scientific background who lead me to get a degree in Chemistry at the
Università degli Studi di Milano, in 2000.
Active member for 16 years at the
Italian Red Cross Vercelli province Commettee, I have been Commissioner, First Aid Instructor and member of NBCR squad (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical and Radiological).
Since 1984, after some years of competitive level, the practise of karate led me to teach this martial art and sport in general at Italian National Olympic Committee at youth sports "Karate Vercelli" and to obtain 3th dan, received in Ostia (Rome) in October 2000.
I owe my training to dear departed Master Giovanni Sella (2nd dan), to Instructor Giovanni Cometto (4th dan) and to Master Francesco Penna (6th dan).
The research and the desire of comparison let me meet several exponents of martial world, beginning from my friend Alessandto Poma (3rd dan) for Ju-Jitsu and Ki-Aikido, to Master Kenjiro Yoshigasaki for Aikido with Ki, to arrive to Grand Master Chu Hong-Ping with Masters Rosa Chen, Wang Chin-Shih and Valter Bellisario for Tai Chi.
Meeting
Shiatsu Master Massimo Boeris opened the doors to the study of this Japanese art, while meeting nun Zen Elisabetta Fukkyo Pinzan credited new meaning to the word "sharing" thanks to the practise of
Ibuki therapy.
In January 2005 was born the Centre
"Il Centro di Mums", by initiative of four pratictioners of the Shiatsu school
"Sinestesi": Ulla Capra, Maurizio Codogno, Marco Polato and Stefano Reali.
Four different training paths, having in common Shiatsu practise, assure an extended knowledge and the use of complementary techniques to accompany people who came to the Center to find their balance and wellness again.
Because of Elisabetta, I also discovered
Ito-Thermie, a Japanese method created in the previous century by doctor Kinitsu Ito. Then I met Austrian Masters Wolfgang Bertl and Sandra Acaris (representing one of the three acknowledged European schools by Japanese federation) and Masters
Mamoru Kohrogi and
Champaka Yoshie, of the Japanese school.
Since 2007 I am interested in the way to transpose Shiatsu techniques to the water element studying "Shuidao", "The Way of Water", with Masters Samuel Capecchi and Fabrizio Dalle Piane.
The purpose to go ahead in this direction flows into the approach of
Watsu, with intructors Cristina Nicolini and Chiara Torrini.
After all those experiences, it is in 2011 when I move to Lyon, where
I am the only professional of Ito-Thermie.
I am also the only Ibuki Therapy instructor in France.
